Mr Shed - Supplier of quality garden shed kitsets

Quality timber garden shed kitsets built just for you!

Each of our sheds is individually built for the end customer, not assembled out of random production line components that may have been sitting for months. Building to demand keeps our overheads down which means we can supply a top quality product to you at a fair price!

We source our materials from local suppliers as needed and only use good quality treated timber in our sheds. The floor is strong with little or no flex, made with 150x50 H4 framing and joists and 25mm thick flooring. Shed framing is all 75x50 H3 and the weatherboards are 19mm thick H3 treated. Building paper is standard as are the parliament hinges for the door which ensure it opens fully. Door cladding is macrocarpa and all nails and other fixings are galvanised or appropriately coated for the type of application. We only use materials that are designed to last!

Prices above is collected from our yard in Puriri between Thames and Paeroa but delivery can be arranged to Auckland, Waikato and Bay of plenty, please call for charges. Unfortunately due to the size and weight of these kitsets it will be cost prohibitive to ship beyond these areas.

During the construction of your shed kitset we preassemble most of the shed to ensure it all fits together as it should, and mark all components before we strip it back down to kitset form. This way we know everything works and using our easy to follow instructions with plenty of pictures you should have no problems with final assembly.

By doing more when building the shed kitset makes it a little more expensive to manufacture but it ensures a high quality product and it siginificantly reduces the time and effort for you to assemble it on site. Our shed kitset consists of the four fully built walls with the door pre-hung. The floor is completely finished ready to be set up on site. You simply need to set the floor up level on site, stand up the walls on the floor and bolt them together. Fit the purlins and the roof then fit the corner and roof flashings. Finally fit the padbolt to the the door and then bolt the shed to the floor and you are done. With two strong people even the largest shed should only take 2-3 hours

We have recently built a custom designed 3600x1300 with a sloping roof and offset door for a difficult site which you can see below.

If you require a custom built shed please contact us for available options and pricing.

Mr Shed can assemble your new garden shed on site for a fee, enquire when you order your shed.
